Wanted feature: improved dictionary

So, I have a Pocketbook Era that I quite like. I read books in several languages, so it’s important to me to have dictionaries that function well.

The built-in dictionaries on the Pocketbook (in the .dic format) are a nightmare. They don’t reliably look up conjugated verbs, for one thing. I just looked up the French verb “comporterait” and it returned the noun “comportement.” In German, looking up “begrüßte” returns “begründen,” which is a completely different word. In addition, the available dictionaries are not very comprehensive in terms of vocabulary.

For most books, I use KoReader, which allows me to install my own dictionaries that can do all these very basic things.

But sometimes I want to use the Era’s native reading app, and the poor-quality dictionary functionality is a real disappointment.

There are so many things I like about Pocketbook (ease of Koreader installation, easy link to Dropbox, built-in Onleihe app, and more). But please fix the dictionaries!

Landscape mode lock (also in menus) 2 column reading for epubs

I recently got my pocketbook verse pro and it has been a great experience. Though I wish we could have the landscape mode in menus as well and the ability to lock landscape mode. It is much more comfortable to hold it in landscape due to the placement of the buttons. It is kind of awkward to hold in portrait while one finger on the buttons to change the page.
Also the ability to have 2 columns would make the reading experience so much better for me. It lets me read faster with less page turns. I already use it with the smallest font possible, but going even smaller, 1-2 points and having 2 columns would be a great addition!
