Unhandled Exception in v8.8.0
I'm getting the following error every time I change libraries when my device is connected, ever since updating to 8.8.0.
calibre, version 8.8.0 ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>TypeError</b>:auto_store_current_bookmark() missing 1 required positional argument: 'load_resources' calibre 8.8 embedded-python: True Windows-10-10.0.19045-SP0 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '10', '10.0.19045') Python 3.11.12 Windows: ('10', '10.0.19045', 'SP0', 'Multiprocessor Free') Interface language: None EXE path: C:\Program Files\Calibre2\calibre.exe Successfully initialized third party plugins: DeDRM (10, 0, 3) && Count Pages (1, 13, 7) && EpubMerge (3, 2, 0) && EpubSplit (3, 12, 0) && FanFicFare (4, 48, 0) && Find Duplicates (1, 10, 9) && Generate Cover (2, 3, 6) && Kobo Utilities (2, 24, 0) && Obok DeDRM (10, 0, 3) TypeError: auto_store_current_bookmark() missing 1 required positional argument: 'load_resources' I don't actually know what it means, and it's letting me add and remove stuff from my Kobo still, but I wanted to point it out. I'm also not sure if this is a Calibre issue or an issue with Kobo Utilities (I installed the updates for both at about the same time). |

That's coming from a third party plugin, calibre doesnt have such a function. You can disable each of those plugins one by one to find the culprit.

I think this is coming from the updated Kobo Utilities plugin.
Edit: Tested and if I revert to the previous version of the Kobo Utilities plugin, the error was not seen. Last edited by DNSB; Yesterday at 10:13 PM. |
