1) Does anyone know where this app stores downloads, or if it stores them in multiple pieces like some other media apps?

2) What DRM does it use?

The app does allow screenshots of book pages, so there's that potential workaround.

DRM is pointless and just limits ordinary users.

Agreed. I could take a screenshot of every page and assemble them into a PDF. The only thing stopping me is that I'm lazy.
