Wink Links - Text-based browser for Kindle

Yesterday, all of a sudden, I pictured an actual working links for the Kindle. I could not resist; rolled up my sleeves, terminal opened, and after hours of work, a dozen failed builds, and a couple of sanity checks... drum roll, please...

Links 2.29 has been finally cross-compiled and running on Kindle Paperwhite! 🎉

It has been quite a ride. I must have run through every kind of build error, linker tantrum, and mysteriously missing function. I wanted so much to get JavaScript support and graphical mode working but they just refused to play ball. Alas, they didn't make it into this build. 😞

By the way, this version builds only for hard-float systems, so my big apologies to anyone still stuck on soft-float. Hopefully, I can come back to that in the future.

Just unzip and put it to some places in the kindle, then use kterm to launch it because I can't make the KUAL extension version. Sorry!
