Android or Linux on Boox ultra tab C

Hello,
I've had the tablet in the title for a while.
I don't use note taking much, I would love to replace the OS with a full android, not interested in termux or similar.

Can somebody showl me please how to go about it? Tab is already rooted

Alternatively any ArM distro possible from Linux?

I'm never sure what people are looking for when they talk about other OSes on an Android.

All the Onyx Boox devices already have Android on them.

It's easy enough compiling something to run on command line.

If you want something with a GUI, write an Android app.

Thanks for replying, and sorry for lack of clarity, as well as for delay.
I would just like to replace android with another ROM or Linux (which seems difficult apparently).
I flashed roms on phones and tablets before but can't write apps compile.
Would you have tips or tutorial on how to flash a new ROM on this? (Again if it is possible, found nothing so far).

Just use EDL and flash whatever you want.
Or use a custom recovery.

Where are you getting this ROM with support for color Eink?

Lineage is released per device.
You'd have to port it yourself.

I found this

While not specifically tailored for e-ink devices, Evolution X can be installed on devices that are supported by the ROM and have the appropriate firmware and vendor files.

I'll check it out on XDA
