I would not recommend half-dosing.

It'll be a bigger problem to no-dose after I run out on Tuesday, especially with the levodopa.

Erm, yeah, that was what the "sorry" was for.

Ah, the prescription drug dances. My 94 year old mom lived on her own up until this past March. She is on some maintenance drugs for blood pressure and cholesterol. Her insurance is good, so she paid nothing for her meds, and they were all delivered by mail order, in 90 day supplies.

Now she is in a nursing home. Which means she is forced into using the pharmacy they use. Which means it now costs her around $60 per month for these meds. Which is nothing compared to the average $9,500 per month for her stay there. Her money will run out in about 6 months, then she will be on Medicaid.

It's been a stressful 8 months.

Pharmacy let me have a week's supply (I get 3-month fills).

Also I got a hearing carry over setup with my phone provider, which should help with the speech issue.

Comparative and superlative adjectives have not only been discarded by journalists and bureaucrats, now it seems by those who ought to know better:

Quote:
Supreme Court Justice Belinda Rigg said the evidence before her established “that ideally a year or many months of planning would have made this Sunday’s event more safe, and more predictable”.
What's wrong with 'safer' Belinda - brevity is virtuous, whereas prolix from some (e.g. police commissioners) is a affectation, from others (e.g. judges) it ought be regarded as a sin.

I recall that someone (but can't recall who) once said that a real good journalist wouldn't use adjectives at all.

The shower drain is partially blocked. Usually cleaning the siphon/hair catcher solves it, but not this time (cleaned it 3 times now). However, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a problem with the siphon. It's one you can easily pull out of the drain for cleaning, but the thing doesn't open up, and only has a small plug. So we clean is using a drinking straw brush and letting it soak in water with some cleaner for a bit and hope for the best.

You can order new ones online. But I can't find the one we have. So I messaged the manufacturer if it's possible to send them some pictures so they can identify it for me so I can order a new one. Even if it isn't the siphon causing the problem it wouldn't hurt to replace the old one.

If it's a blockage further in the drain it might be hard to find a plumber this time of year (my sister doesn't want to use the Dutch equivalent of Drano, because it isn't good for the pipes and she doesn't want to use one of those spiral unblockers ourselves).

I find one of those plastic "dip sticks" with barbs on it pretty good for pulling out hair blockage.
Use gloves when ripping it back out if it gets stuck on barbs.

I found that a USB endoscope (camera on a flexible stalk) was very good for working out what was wrong in some plumbing. They're not expensive - something like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lightswim-E...dp/B0CFLDX4HL/

I picked up one of those a couple of years back when we were having clogging issues. It was worth while since we could see the reason for the clog though we still called in a plumber to take care of the issue.

I think this is the link to the one I picked up: https://www.amazon.ca/Endoscope-Enno.../dp/B0DJKQTXRT
