After typing ;enter_demo and reboot, I am landing in demo configure device again, typing ;enter_demo
and again.

This is the situation:

In this demo mode, PC-Linux shows me no content of the mounted PW2.

Over the years a hotfix has been developed to allow recoverying the jailbreak in cases of a reset or firmware update, bothe of which cause the jailbreak. ;enter_demo with ;exit_demo and reboot.
The files for the Jailbreak I have deleted, but the points wifi, update and factory reset are grey out.

Don't know if here is the best place for a bug/issue report but i did not see a github/lab page.

I get an error once i side-loaded the files to my Kindles root? folder

Device:PW2
SW Build Kindle 5.12.2.2
Error: "Application Error The selected application could not be started. Please try again"

Folder looking like this:
Kindle/.demo$ ls
demo.json goodreads/ PW2-5.12.2.2.zip

goodreads/ is empty
when pressing "Done" i get that error message. Anyway i can help you debugging this ?

Thank you for your work. I was able to jailbreak again my Kindle 6'th gen (PW2) with FW 5.12.2.2. I reinstalled KUDO and KOReader. Everything works like a charm. You are GREAT.

Hi, it is my first post here, so I might be asking a dumb question. I have an PW4 with FW version 5.12.4, it sounds like it should be supported, but it is not listed on the package, how should I proceed?

Should I first update to 5.14.2? How?

Or may be I should follow the instructions on https://kindlemodding.org/jailbreaking/WinterBreak/ instead?

I'm with my KT2 loaded with FW 5.12.2.2, and from what I understand I can follow this tutorial to jailbreak this device, right ? and then what ?
Can I install KUAL on this KT2 ? Koreader ? What is the latest versions available for the KT2 ?
I must admit I've read so many pages from this forum that I'm a bit confused now ��

There is no Kindle Touch 2. That's the Kindle Basic 1.
