Most companies that use voice recognition have it set so that if you cannot be understood or they don't have what you are saying as an option, you get send to an operator/human being to then say what you want so you can be properly transferred.

If it's like one system I was recently victimized by, I had to speak very slowly and use military pronunciation for numbers (tree niner fower fife instead of 3945) before it would understand me. At least, it gave my spouse a good laugh listening to me sound like a slowed down recording...

I had one awhile ago ,say why you are calling today, as soon as I said complaint it cut me off

I soon cottoned on, called back immediately and said renewal - as soon as I got through to an agent I said I don't want to renew I need to make a complaint - but I have two now, the original and one about your automated phone system

Can't express how much I hate Fandom.com. Unusable without adblocker. Stupid rules to prevent forking/migrating wikis. SEO means they're at the top of search results.

And wikis that were on Gamepedia to avoid these, they just bought out Gamepedia and merged it in.

English language public broadcasters that use adult voices to voice over children speaking in another language… not only is the tonality wrong, often as not, so is the translation… children tend not to use metaphors, let alone mix them.

Yes I'm looking at you BBC and your local baby bro, the AusBC.

Maybe commercial broadcasters do it too, but I don't listen to them.

That's been the MO for Wikia since before the name change. GameFAQs, GameSpot, TV Guide(!) and more. But I'm seeing a growing number of dissatisfied fan and official wikis leaving Fandom.com for Weird Gloop including Balatro and Vampire Survivors.
