Koreader only loading

I just bought a Kobo clara bw and im on the newest update. I have followed the steps of getting koreader and nickelmenu. But when I try opening the koreader in the bottom right from nickelmenu it just gets to loading screen with the 3 dots and then goes back to the home page of kobo.

Did you try using the latest KOReader nightly for Kobo? Were you actually launching from NickelMenu or were you using NickelMenu to launch KOReader using KFMon? I would suggest editing the koreader file in /.adds/nm from:

# Launch KOReader via KFMon
# NOTE: .adds/nm/kfmon will generate this automatically
#menu_item : main : KOReader : kfmon     : koreader.png

# Launch KOReader directly via NM (>= KOReader 2020.05)
#menu_item : main : KOReader : cmd_spawn : quiet : exec /mnt/onboard/.adds/koreader/koreader.sh

by removing the first 4 lines and the # from the start of the last line so it reads:

# Launch KOReader directly via NM (>= KOReader 2020.05)
menu_item : main : KOReader : cmd_spawn : quiet : exec /mnt/onboard/.adds/koreader/koreader.sh

Thank you! The problem was that my koreader wasn't on the latest update.
