Also when I go to libbyapp.com and search for 'Skip the line' internally it is performing an api request with the parameters

showOnlyLuckyDayAvailable=true&excludeNormallyAvailable=true

It only shows six results but the borrow button is enabled for all of them if I search for them in the plugin.

I just installed the plugin with calibre 8.5 on windows 11. When I try to open the prefs to configure the plugin (from either prefs->advanced->plugins->customize or from the menu item->customize), calibre just hangs, and i have to force quit it and restart.

I can't think of anything that could cause a hang, so the most likely case is that Windows has decided to display the window off-screen.

If you try it again and then hold down the Windows key and press the arrow keys to see if it becomes visible. Or try holding both Ctrl and Windows keys and press the left and right arrows keys a couple of times.

Failing that there are a couple of other methods detailed here.

I'm not sure. If this is just another name of the 'Lucky Day Copy' then it should be supported.

What happens if you try searching for that book on the advanced search tab? If the borrow button is still disabled there (but enabled on the website) would you mind saving the search results and either upload the json file or send it to me.

OK dokie.. Unfortunately wasn't able to figure out how to screen-capture calibre on a chromebook so had to resort to camera pictures. Noe that in the HOLDS tab the book shows as 0 days, but borrow is greyed out. On the Search tab, borrow is available.

Ok. Had another loan show up today. Onyx Storm. While yes, the Borrow button was available, clicking it resulted in

|Admittedly this might have been a second click on the button; the first time had no error and no change to any status so I assumed the click had not registered.

If you refresh the details of the holds - is the borrow button still enabled and if so, does the same error occur when you click it?

The search results shows that your library has 150 copies of this book, but only 1 copy was available at the time of the search. So the only explanation I can think is that someone else borrowed the book after you performed the search but before you tried to borrow the book.

Hi friends,
I installed OverDrive Libby plugin v0.2.3 on my Calibre server and connected it to my Libby account.
I can see my loans listed, but I cannot see a download button anywhere.
Am I missing something?
Hope someone can assist 🙏

Due to the last few months changes on the libby side, that portion of the API is broken. The developer quite rightly removed the download option to avoid any further issues. The plugin still allows you to borrow a book and then launch a browser to the book page on libby from where you can download the acsm file manually. (Read With.. > ePUB). Once you downloaded your book, and calibre has deacsm properly configured, all you have to do is drag the acsm file into calibre and it will be added as an epub file.

I am already using the manual acsm download method, import into Calibre and then send it to my Kindle library.
I was looking to make the process easier with less steps.

Hopefully the Overdrive Libby plugin download button will see its return in the future 🙏
