Window's reliability history reporting crash
Hi,
Every now and then I get the following message in the "Window's reliability history". Does anybody know what might cause this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Calibre but I still get these messages. FWIW,
The faulting module is listed as wpnapps.dll which according to google is the Windows Push Notification System. So calibre appears to not be responding to a Windows Push Notification of some sort. Not sure why Calibre would need to respond to some other apps push notifications but, according to google that is what appears to be happening. |

calibre doesnt use wpnaps.dll at all, as far as I know. Most likely there is something on the OPs system that is injecting software into calibre causing the issues. The closest thing I can think of is windows toast notifications that calibre uses via wintoastlib, but that is for local notifications only and doesnt use the windows push notifications service.

Thanks,
I have uninstalled and re-installed Calibre and also cleared the Reliability history. See the message comes back again. I remember if Calibre was active before, putting my laptop to sleep, sometimes I used to get similar messages. |

Reboot into safe mode and try calibre again. If it works, it's something you run when you boot normally.
