Go_Comics.recipe has stopped working

Hi,

it seems that the site Gocomics.com has been re-designed and now the go_comics.recipe cannot fetch comics anymore.

I could already find out that the site does not answer to http: requests anymore, but changing http: to https: did not solve the problem, it seems the html of the page has changed, too.

If anyone could fix the recipe, this would be highly appreciated.

Go Comics stopped working for me around April 1st. I use a customized version of the recipe to select the comics I want to read. I've tried using the built-in version of the recipe, but it also fails.

Unfortunately I don't have the coding skills to fix this, so I would also appreciate it if someone was able to fix it.

I've included the error log below in case it is helpful. It looks to be failing because of: HTTP Error 404: Not Found

The error can be solved by changing the http to https, but that will just get you to where the original poster is.

Hi,

the Gocomics recipe stopped working again, but this time it was enough to fix a tag name. Here is the updated version.

I also added recipe specific options to change the cover and/or masthead of the generated book.

On the Advanced tag of the recipe you can specify a list of the slugs associated with the comics. For instance forbetterorforworse garfield calvinandhobbes bloomcounty bloom-county bc.

You can find the slugs by going to the GoComics site and looking at the URLs for each comic you want to follow.
