KEPUB Cover Output Calibre v8.x+
Hi,
Windows 11 / epub to kepub conversion Since updating to Calibre 8.x from 7.x, KEPUB-output resizes the book cover to fill the device screen, rather than keep the original aspect ratio [the behaviour in version 7.x]. I know I can select “Use cover from source file” which works, but this doesn’t work with batch-conversions and [at least on my PC] the setting isn’t saved between Calibre-sessions. Is there a workaround or would it be possible for the setting to be saved between sessions - or is this user-error on my part? Many thanks for any assistance. |

I would suspect that you did not reconfigure the KoboTouch driver to fully match the old KoboTouchExtended driver configuration. In this case, check the 2nd tab of the configuration dialog and check the Keep cover aspect box.

KoboTouch
Hi David,
Thanks for your reply - unfortunately all my settings are already the same as you suggested. I did try ticking/unticking just to see if anything helped, but it didn't. |
