I've liked this Harmony book more than the last ones too.

I liked it a lot, but then I really like police procedurals, which often are a bit slow and methodical. And Hidden Nature seems to be a police procedural trying to masquerade as a romance. My one big issue was that I really didn't like the "ick factor" stuff, but was able to skip over those parts pretty easily.
