I'm guessing Amazon is rolling out this change and yours will stop working in the near future. Last edited by odamizu; 05-28-2025 at 01:57 AM. |

Hi
Think there is something on github, and that is the ”help” i thought about. You are completly right that deDRM help is not supposed to be here nor on the official calibre side. Github is also full of different treads, so finding the right one??? Greetings from Sweden |

Note that Kindle for PC can only be used for deDRMing books published before April 22, and a Fire tablet can't be used for deDRMing at all. |

Is it true what the first post says about method X or is it outdated? Being trying to find any way but seems not even payware like Epubor can make anything for know.

Edit: tried it and it works. Still, it took a bit of tinkering. Last edited by Sirtel; 05-29-2025 at 08:20 PM. |

The info needed to find it on github is here in a thread on MR. I've used it several times successfully.

At least now we're heading back down the road that aligns with the quote below. BTW, a huge thanks to Sirtel for enlightening the rabble... of which I am a part.

In your case, the best way is to use calibre with DeDRM and KFX Input. Download the eBooks to your PW2. Then plug in your PW2 and drag/drop the .kfx file directly from the PW2 to your calibre library. That's all you need to do.

Yes, if you already have an eink Kindle, then it's faster and simpler to use that.
