No, it hasn't. Worked for me a few hours ago.

What version of K4PC are you using?

1. My library is not syncing. The most recent book synced in my library was bought on May 13, 2025. I've bought several more books between then and now but they aren't being synced into my library. I tried using 'Deliver or Remove from Device' (in my content library on Amazon.com) to send books to K4PC, but that isn't working either.

2. Even if I could get my newest purchases to sync, I can't download any books in my K4PC library, not even ones published before April 23, 2025. The cover says 'Pending' for a long time and then shows an exclamation point in the bottom right corner, but no error message appears.

Anyone else having a similar issues? My first thought was maybe Amazon has blocked syncing/downloading in out-of-date K4PC versions.
IIRC Anything published after April 22 cant be downloaded into k4pc prior to 2.7.

Use your PW3 to dowload your eBooks and then connect your PW3 to your calibre library. Then drag/drop the .kfx directly from the PW3 into your calibre library.

You will need the KFX Input plugin and the DeDRM plugin.

KFX Input is for combining all the files of the KFX into one and being able to convert to ePub. DeDRM is to remove the DRM.

Yes I know that. As I said in my earlier comment, I can’t get downloads to work for any books regardless of whether they were published before or after April 23.

The recommend way to add kindle books to your library from your kindle is:

Quote:
connect kindle to pc--click device view in calibre--find the kindle books you wish to add to calibre high ligth them then right click--add to library
This works every time, drag/drop does not work every time in my experience.

You will need the KFX Input plugin, the DeDRM plugin, and then KFX Output plugin.

KFX Input is for combining all the files of the KFX into one. DeDRM is to remove the DRM. KFX Output is to be able to convert the KFX to a different format.

I'm sorry, but that's just making things more difficult. Drag/drop works every time. I have never had drag/drop into my calibre library fail.

Regardless of your experience drag n drop does not work everytime. I discovered the Add to Library feature because I ran into drag and drop not working. Once I used Add to Library the books added correctly.

Drag n drop works for me. Suffice to say, one should use what works best for you. Different strokes for different folks

I don't think the KFX Output plugin is necessary to convert KFX to a different format.

Correct. The KFX Output plugin is for converting other formats to KFX.

The KFX Input plugin is needed to convert a KFX file to other formats and also has a tool for converting KFX to ePub (From KFX). For me, it munges the output ePub a lot less than calibre's convert-ebook option. Much like the KindleUnpack plugin gives an output file a lot closer to the original ePub input file than using calibre's conversion pipeline.

I am already aware of how to download books using Method 3. My original comment was about issues I was having with Method 2a, I didn't know if anyone else was having similar problems with K4PC and could offer a solution. But it sounds like it's just me experiencing this syncing/downloading issue.
