Exclamation Can i jailbreak my unregistered kindle 11th?
Since it came i'm using it in airplane mode because I can't register and amazon won't help me. it has 5.15.0 FW.

The simple answer is no. WinterBreak requires a Kindle to be registered before it can be jailbroken.

The next question is why you can't register it? The most likely answer is that it is blacklisted as a stolen, lost, whatever device.

5.15.x should be supported by LanguageBreak, and that doesn't require registering.

My device is working fine and I don't need any help, but i want to point out:

1. I purchased a non ad supported kindle
2. I have no intention of allowing Amazon _any_ control over the device I purchased, or surrendering my privacy in the present or future.

The damn thing keeps nagging about the device not being registered. I could do so and then jailbreak it again. But no.

So register it with an Amazon account that you set up with a gift card and whatever other nonsense you want to use for name, etc., jailbreak it and then deregister it.

You could add SideloadedMode=true under the [ApplicationPreferences] header in the .conf file... Ooopss... wrong brand.
