Fortunately we just got powdery snow with no freezing rain = easily removed today b/c it all will freeze into black ice overnight

The last couple of days of my vacation. My sister and I are going to Gouda in a couple of hours. Mostly to do some (window) shopping and afterwards we're going out to dinner.

Tomorrow I'm doing laundry and we might go have lunch or coffee/tea at a nearby restaurant.

I really wish I had booked two weeks instead of one.

Catching up on laundry. The last two days we've had word done to change the warm water system in our home. Normally I do my own laundry on Thursday, but by the time we had water again it was too late.

But with today's warm temperature and nice breeze it's working out. Instead of using my dehumidifier to get my air dry items to dry it's warm enough to open my windows and create a nice cross breeze.

I still got a couple of loads to do today.

Right now I'm planning on editing a post of mine to release a new version of a plugin I made.

I'm looking for a job in retail. Last week I reacted to two openings and I got invited for a job interview for both of them. On is on Friday afternoon for a part time job at a craft store and the other is on Monday, also for a part time job, at a store that probably is most comparable to the dollar store (a lot of different items, from cleaning supplies to snacks to stationary to home decor for cheap prices).

The craft store is more in line with my interests, the other one is closer to where I live.

Waiting for a phone call from/about a friend I gave a lift to the hospital this evening. After a 3 hour wait, he was admitted for observation.

Browsing MobileRead, Discord, Slack, etc. while my younger granddaughter naps. She was feeling under the weather today so the grandparents were asked to keep an eye on her while the parents are working.

On my walk this morning, I encountered the neighborhood's fiercest - and tiniest - guard dog - a tiny black menace that snuffled behind me as I rounded the cul-de-sac -- looked like a toy Cairn terrier - so cute as he tried to be tough.

I haven't made any sourdough in a few months. My starter was rather slow before Christmas so I put it in the oven on it's lowest temp to warm it up. Sadly got called away and forgot about it. When I remembered, it reminded me of a hardtack biscuit.
