Audible Download Manager and Libation are two different things. I don't know much about Audible Download Manager but I do use and love Libation. It's open-source, cross-platform, supports multiple Audible accounts and multiple countries, and the developer says it will remain free as long as he's maintaining it. He's also very responsive on Reddit.

My library switched to Libby 4 years ago. My ipods are too old to use the Libby app, so it's either phone or not at all. Mostly not at all.

No one said they were the same thing. The initial setup for aaxtomp3--at least the early version I use--asks for a one-time sign-in on Audible Download Manager to verify an Audible account. If that manager is no longer available on the Audible site, it can be downloaded from the link I gave.

I did not like Libation at all when I tried it. If I recall, it had too many bells and whistles when all I want is a simple conversion to mp3. Different strokes for different folks.
