16°C and sunny here. Going to get warmer over the next couple of days but clouds and rain rolling in for the weekend.
As that old joke goes: What do you call a sunny day after two days of rain? Monday. |

It going to be a warm day; 25-26℃. It'll be sunny with not much wind. Tomorrow is going to be similar, but one or two degrees warmer. After that the temperature's going to drop to 13℃ on Sunday and Monday.
I'm keeping my eye on Thursday, I'm going to a concert and even if I have an assigned seat I plan on being early at the venue to meet with other fans. So far the prediction is that it'll be dry and 16℃. |

We've had a week of good weather. Today won't be the exception. It's already (9.39am) nearly 20℃ and it's set to rise to 25℃. It's sunny, but breezy. From tomorrow temperatures will go down to around 20℃.
I wouldn't mind some rain; my hay fever is bad this year, even with OTC medication. Not surprisingly, in the city there weren't many trees and much grass. In this suburban neighbourhood a lot more. But currently no rain is predicted until the 24th. |

It's officially "summer" in NC - mosquitoes and fireflies abound, rat snake in my hedge, deer dashing down the driveway ... did I mention the humidity .... and sweating through your T-shirt during a walk?

You are more than welcome to keep your wildlife. The bears, coyotes, cougars and deer are enough for me. The raccoons seem to be recovering from their die off a few years back and are fascinated by our garbage bin when some lackwits don't obey the sign that tells them to close the lid to keep bears and raccoons out.

We've had dry and warm (20℃+) weather for almost two weeks now. Today is going to be a little bit cooler, but still dry, some sun and some clouds.
Thursday and Friday the temperatures will drop to well below average; 13℃ to 15℃. And whilst during the weekend the temperatures will go up to 18℃ to 20℃ again it will get rainy. We haven't had proper rain in a long while, so it will be welcome. Hopefully it'll also help with my hay fever, which has been kicking my butt this past week. |

Summer arrives in NC at the flick of a switch - there are days of premonition throughout "spring" and then ... BAM! It's hot (>90 F), it's humid - and it doesn't cool off at night.
Today was my personal first official day of summer - went on my regular after breakfast morning walk (at 8:30 am) and literally crawled home beset by the first occurrence of heat sickness. Finally got back on my feet this afternoon - it takes longer to acclimate to the heat as I age. |

24° and mostly sunny. A nice day for a walk but in a couple of days when the highs move to the low 30s, time to hydrate and seek shade.

Windy, rainy and only 17℃ max today and tomorrow. My sister's helping a friend redecorating her new house this weekend, so I'll be spending my time cross stitching and reading.
From Wednesday the weather will look different; 25℃ to 30℃, but humid, with chances of thunderstorms. I had planned an outing to Delft next week. Initially on Tuesday, but due to no trains in that part of the country that day (train conductors want a higher salary) I had planned to go on Wednesday. But if it's over 25℃ I'll postpone my trip. |
