DNSB what is the file for waveform length header represented in ?
FF F5 AF FF 78 56 34 12 81 E6 08 at 0x6ffff0 converted to decimal is wayy too big
the table seems to be 32x16 rows/columns of 8 bits... = 512 bytes
i cant figure out how to convert the length header to that value

I haven't looked at the structure of a waveform table since the mid-teens. At that time, the structure (IF I am remembering correctly) was a collection of 128 64-bit entries per table. There were multiple tables (B&W, 2-bit/4 grays, 4-bit/16 grays, plus some that are temperature compensation, etc.). You would likely be better off checking an Internet search.
