Talking about Amazon search, I am still surprised by the difference between search results on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Amazon.ca seems willing to admit that no search results were found while Amazon.com found 6 results for my search on "Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident" which I lifted from a Lorem Ipsum page. Oddly, Amazon.ca had 5 of the 6 items so how does Amazon.com match them while Amazon.ca does not?

For years ever since it was released, when I did IT support, I removed Outlook (OS or Office versions) except for people running their own Exchange server and needing meeting dates.

For years you couldn't disable remote content. Multiple stupidity compared to Thunderbird (or others earlier).

I remember back in the old day of dial-up you'd be downloading for a good length of time and you'd get close to being done when someone else picked up the phone and dropped the connection.

Adobe Digital Editions for Windows is still that stupid.
Get on a bad connection and it can load 90% of a book 10 times and never get the whole thing.

I have never once had ADE fail to download an eBook once it started the download.

Yeah. That was really annoying. Or you reached the 2hr continuous connection limit and your ISP automatically disconnected. You very quickly learned to use a download manager... every single time, no matter the file size!
