Delete content on a 2024 Kindle
I have a 2025 Kindle that I'm setting up for someone. How do I easily delete all the content it synced? I cannot do it from Windows Explorer or calibre. Thanks.

If books aren't visible on both Explorer and Calibre then they aren't actually downloaded to the device memory. And what you see is "what's archived on Amazon account" aka 'The Cloud".

So, change settings for Kindle Library view to only show "Downloaded" instead of "All" (or whatever it's called now).

My mistake. It's a 2024 Kindle Basic.

It was the initial setup sync I was trying to delete. I didn't want any of that on the Kindle. I did a reset and registered it. That solved the problem. Calibre saw none of the content.
