Bookshelf/collection organization stopped working

Hi all. I have been using collections on my Libre color and Clara color for some time. I have the Kobo Touch driver set to create automatically manage and to create collections and I have automatic management turned on. However, when I finished a book recently I found that none of my books were in their collections anymore on either device. I tested downloading books and it did not work. I also noted that Kobotouch extended was no longer installed and would not install so I was left to use Kobotouch. Was there some recent change that I missed? Thanks for your help.
PS: Running calibre 8.3 and update to 8.4. No difference. Still cannot reinstall Kobotouch extended. Says it installs reboot but only kobotouch is installed.

With calibre 8 and above, the kobotouch extended drivers are no longer supported as their functionality has been added to base calibre.

Unfortunately the upgrade did not migrate your configuration settings (including the calibre columns used for collections) from the extended driver.

You just need to reconfigure the calibre Kobo touch driver to have the correct values in its collection management settings.

No need to resend content; on the next connection the collections will be updated

Thanks. I checked the Kobotouch plugin and set bookshelf as collections with automatic create and automatic management. Still no joy. Neither the books on the device nor newly downloaded book are in collections.

Put # before the collection name.

If you want to see the settings you used to have in KTE goto calibre | Advanced | Miscellaneous and select the Open calibre configuration folder and examine the file device_drivers_KOBOTOUCHEXTENDED.py.json.

The line "collections_columns": "" will show the exact columns that you had used.

It is always the simple solutions. I guess when I upgraded to 8.0+ and it switched to the non-extended driver the # was lost. Now its working perfectly. Thanks so much.
