I do think a color Sage would be using the contrast killing filter.

A Gallery is too slow and likely other issues. It's for posters.

The Remarkable Paper Pro says otherwise. Gallery and Kaleido both have their pros and cons, and both are usable in their own way.

How is the contrast on a Gallery screen? Can it be read in the same external lighting conditions as the Libra 2?

Maybe as it has no printed colour filter dots. The actual cells are cyan, yellow, magenta and white layers. It's really for shop / poster displays, but it seems that people are not worried about power consumption as the regular video panels are what retailers use. Dozens now in the local mini-supermarket, but the price labels are eink (often the ones with red, white and black).

However it's maybe x10 slower than eink greyscale, which is slower than pure black & white mode eink.

And ditch the load of stupid magnets inside, no doubt for the pointless power cover. They are glued in so very hard to remove. Adds a lot of weight. Maybe 6 or 8 and causes things under to turn on/off or pickup coins, small batteries, paper clips etc. Can't sanely set Sage on a steel surface either.
