Why are my book covers sometimes so small?

My experience was it depended on how I had the driver configured. The driver has an option to upload a cover along with the book. If this option is not selected the Kobo will extract the cover from the epub

But for me, that involves extra steps I don't wish to take, and negates the whole point of taking advantage of the Wifi I paid for, which when it works properly, is quick & simple.

What are using to sideload with wifi to the Kobo?

You've also paid for the USB ports on your computer.

Writing your own program is what I'd call extra steps. Instead of using one already written, that works perfectly. But as you said, whatever floats your boat.

I'm curious, how do you use wifi for sideloading to your Kobo? While there are a few ways, they aren't well known like Send to Kindle.

Especially now when it might have only one apart from the charging port and you have to buy a hub! Not just for USB devices, but for for an ethernet port, serial port, decent sound I/O etc.

1. Never had a problem with covers on Kobo.
2. Really only the thumbnails get much use, and only because you can't turn them off.
3. I don't see the covers on the paper books either unless I take it from the shelf. The My Books should have an option to list without thumbnails.
