The two devices are showing up as different in the KU configuration and I've now set up profiles to control the behavior for each (backups to different directories and so on).

A side note for anyone who might want to try this trick in the future (including me): the information on the KU Devices tab is specific to the Calibre instance running, but the Profiles tab is tied to the Calibre library. So if you're maintaining two libraries, you'll need to create the profiles you want in both.

If you are talking going to alibre 8 from calibre 7, you have to configure the Kobo Touch driver like you have the KoboTouchExtended driver.

Changes in this release:

• Disabled "Manage series information" and "Order series collections" features as they are obsolete. They are set to be removed in a future release.
• Changed all instances of 'shelves' to 'collections' for consistency with current firmware versions (partly by @ownedbycats)
• Changed all instances of 'current bookmark' to 'reading position' for clarity and consistency
• Fixed some errors when using old firmware versions
• Documented that newer Tolino devices are supported as well
• Added `scripts/run` task to update translation template
• Added section about contributing translations to README
• Automatically compile translations when building plugin
• Made text case more consistent
• Fixed some language and translation issues

Note that I updated the translation files so that the existing translations are still valid despite the renaming. In fact I fixed some translation issues that prevented existing translations from not working in some cases.

Since multiple people reported that they use the "Get collections from device" feature I've left it alone except for the renaming.

I would like to thank you for taking over the development and maintenance of this plugin. It's a must-have that greatly enhances the usefulness of calibre/Kobo. It was in limbo for a while, which was worrisome. I'm sure that many, many of us here are grateful for your efforts.

I'd buy you a coffee if there is a way.

I agree 100%. I too want to thank @Majutsushi very much for taking over Kobo Utilities and keeping it alive.

If you have any Action Chains using actions from Kobo Utilities, you may have to replace them.

Update TOC, set reader font, restore reading position, and upload cover (for my add/update book on device chain) all failed validation because AC couldn't find the menu entries. I'm not sure why.

Ah sorry about that, I didn't realize that other plugins could actually depend on the menu entries. At least I did all of the changes I wanted to make in one go, so there should be no more changes to them in the foreseeable future. And at least now I know that it could break things. I hope recreating the chains isn't too much work.

Thanks! I'm certainly trying to keep it useful, especially since I'm regularly using it myself. Although the most of the credit still goes to davidfor for all of the functionality.
