Next Stable Release?
Hi!
I've been using the nightly builds on my KOA3, and it's been working swimmingly, but I was wondering if there's any projected timeframe for the next stable release? I have to use the HF version of the nightlies since I'm on firmware 5.17.1.0.3, so I can't use the current stable release, but it would be nice to not have to give in to my OCD and check for updates every morning! ![]() Thanks, Kevin |

Probably soon, but just keep running the version you're running.

The new 2025.04 version was just released, along with a rather substantial user guide update.
Is there a way to get an epub version of the current user guide? Thanks in advance, |

If you desperately need it as epub opened from KOReader itself, I can only suggest an alternative of saving the website as HTML from PC and then cpying this html file and the associated folder to your ereader to open with KOReader. |

That's not entirely true. There's this automated conversion I set up last year. (Unchecked, might be ugly or worse in parts.)

Frenzie:
Much obliged for your reply! I've downloaded de .epub you kindly attached to your previous post. However it won't open properly: it starts on a middle page (as the first thing you see) the end of it has a proper table of contents the links on it don't respond correctly: same with regular page turning if you start reading from the beginning of the document. Mayhaps the file needs some editing before release 😅 Gratefully yours, |

In any case, HTML is rendered by mupdf engine rather than crengine, so your experience will be better

I do use internet and social media and whatnot.
However, reading on my reader is something I do offline. Hence the need for an epub or an otherwise offline manual. But that's just me, obviously 😉 Kind regards, |

Alternatively try : https://github.com/dteviot/WebToEpub for epub or simply print to PDF

![]() But it's just calibre, so I'm not sure what seems to have gone wrong there after the guide update. https://github.com/koreader/koreader...l-epub.yml#L12 |

Having nothing better to do while babysitting since the babysittee was busily sleeping, I did a quick pass at cleaning up the User Guide as an epub. I placed it on my Kobo Libra Colour as a kepub.epub and epub. The Kobo renderer did a fairly decent job with the kepub while KOReader lost a couple of images but looked fairly decent. Plato and RMSDK both had issues.
