Agreed. Price matching ≠ on sale.

Since Kobo will match the price of any other eBook seller for any eBook, there is no need to post that a sale price at (Amazon|Barnes & Noble|Randolph Carter) could be price matched by Kobo.

OTOH, if Kobo prices an eBook at less than the Amazon price, this really should be noted, as that's a true sale.

Sadly, Reddit doesn't seem to have any answers, either. If Kobo is getting too many price match requests to make the program sustainable anymore, then the price match guarantee page needs an update with whatever the new terms are.

Not sure what you mean. It's the same book, and it's basic illustrations - it's not a "fixed layout" or anything like comics where the text is inside the illustrations.
