Tamagotchi for Kindle?

Hi everyone!

This is my first time posting on a forum like this, and I’m not a developer, but I had an idea that I think could be really fun: a Tamagotchi-style virtual pet for Kindle! It could react to reading time, need care, and maybe even evolve over time.

I love the thought of bringing something like this to Kindle! Do you think it would be possible as a KUAL extension? 🚀

1. Yes, it's possible.
2. Maybe it would be easier as a webapp ran through Mesquito than a native app on KUAL
3. That said, it wouldn't have access to data like reading time. And won't be able to run in the background.
4. Good luck finding someone to do it for you. It's a fcking large project, and for the ~50 acrive users on this forum - and no payment, you have to be really motivated.

It also would run battery flat. An eink ereader practically sleeps till you page turn.

Here you are! With love from Deepseek R1 (one shot!!!) and some adjustments by me.

I hope it will die in atrocious pain!

Unfortunately it doesn't run in Mesquito, but you can launch it locally using a patched browser.

There are a few bugs because of the basic browser, like it won't always save the game state (it works better on desktop browser). All the sources are there, so if anybody wishes to improve it, feel free to do it.
