update 8.1 seems to have an issue. reverting back to 8.0.1 fixes it

macOS and its archaic socket path length limits. I will release 8.1.1 with the fix, though you can just ignore the error, it's mostly harmless.

thank you ! however the new update seems to duplicate the tools which is quite annoying, i'm making a separate post about it
