author search
Since today, when I do an author search (author:name) calibre gets to the first book of that author, instead of giving me all books by that author. I guess I must have messed something in the config, but I don't know what. Anyone knows, please?.

Well, it used to work before, and it does not anymore. And using "authors:name" gives the same result: takes me to the first book by that author, not all the books by that author.

I found it: in the Preferences-->search-->uncheck "highlight search results instead of restricting the book list to the results".

How that got checked is a mistery.

Maybe you have set a keyboard shortcut - it's in the Miscellaneous group.

Do you have the Highlight icon visible at the end of the search bar? You may have mis clicked.
(It is called Quick Toggle" on that Preference setting box ) to change
