Managing multiple devices.
Just bought my daughter a Clara colour, what’s the easiest way to set it up with just the books she wants to read and not my entire library?

There are many ways. The Reading List plugin, a custom column indicating which books have been sent to the device, a virtual library, or even just a tag.

I assumed you meant Calibre. If you meant your Kobo account, then you can block both store and web access in the device settings. Or you can download the books she wants to read and then delete the wifi settings from the device (unless your daughter knows the password).

In that case, it's best to have two separate accounts. Or not register her Kobo to your account and just sideload those books from your account she's interested in.

You can enable parental controls on a Kobo ereader which will require a PIN to access the Kobo store. Under Settings => Accounts => Block store and web access
