doesnt matter which way i "import" the book (add book, drag and drop, add folder....) only the acsm file will be added to Calibre, no epub will be downloaded and in the debug log i can see the same errors (please see my previous post)

HTTP 403 is forbidden. Did you test with one ACSM, or more than one?

with 3 different files.
all of them work fine with ade, all of them end with the same errors
"AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'decode'" and

Could you run calibre in debug mode, try the plugin again and then post the entire log that calibre produced

If you've used an ACSM file with ADE, then the ACSM plugin has to use your correctly entered ADE account details as used for those files.
A different account or the built in system won't work for ACSM files already "redeemed" as epubs.

Also the ACSM files expire. They need redeemed shortly after download. Open one with a text editor to see expiry date and time.

did re-download the file just today (before i did the tests in debug mode), and as I mentioned previously: same account as in ADE is used.

If you look at the page you linked and click on Show all jobs and then browse down to the bottom of the page, under Artifacts, you will see calibre-plugins. Click on that to download the plugin and the migration plugin in a single .zip file. Extract the calibre-plugin.zip and calibre-migration-plugin.zip files and use calibre's load plugin from file. Direct link is:

i dont know, whats going on...
again: if i follow the link i provided I run into some issues and there is no link at the end of the page (screenshot: link1 and sourcelink1), your direct link to the zip archive gives me an 404 (screenshot: 404)

Your first screen shot shows calibre-plugins which for me using Firefox is a link which when clicked on downloads the calibre-plugins.zip file for me.

I went to the updated workflow run you posted a link to. Browsed down to when calibre-plugins was visible. Hovered on it and it turned blue. Clicked on it and calibre-plugins.zip was downloaded.

That did the trick.

Unzipped the archive and installed both the calibre-plugin.zip and calibre-migration-plugin.zip.
The DeACSM 0.0.16v is now gone and has been replaced with "ACSM Input 0.1.0" and ACSM Input Plugin GUI Extension 0.1.0"

Adding an acsm (add books, drag & drop) to Calibre will trigger the download now. Works like a charm

You should restart your router and see if that fixes your problem. If not, then you need to see if the problem is with your computer. Also try a different DNS such a 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare https://one.one.one.one). If no go, then you'll need to call your ISP and find out why you cannot connect to so many places that you should be able to connect to.
