What version exactly? 2.40 still downloaded newer books as of a week ago, when I last tried it.

Unfortunately I can't give a confident answer as I forgot to check before hitting the update button. But I am somewhat sure it was v2.40 as for a little while a couple of years ago I was using K4PC to download and transfer books to Calibre.

The two books that wouldnt download were recent purchases and also recent releases
Persephone and Nether Station, both by Kevin J. Anderson

Do you have a download link to v2.40? I'll try reinstalling and capturing the message. I've seen some download links from sites I am not familiar with so a bit hesitant to download those.

So far version 2.4.0 (70904) has not refused to download any new books for me.

I downloaded 1463 books 2 days ago using 2.4.0, so hopefully that will work for you. And 1461 one of them worked even if they were kfx. (1 was an old topaz file that dedrm couldn't handle and the other one, which is no longer for sale, had some messed up containers. So overall, very successful.)

I just installed v2.40 of K4PC and re-downloaded those same ebooks I had the problem with earlier. They downloaded ok. So I must have had a version older than v2.40 installed.

Does anyone with a UK Amazon account have trouble sending eBooks from their account to their Kindle? I'm not talking downloading via the Kindle but sending the eBooks from Amazon to the Kindle.

I can do it on the US Amazon site but not the UK Amazon site.

I checked and indeed for a few minutes I was not able to download books to my Oasis on a UK account, but it’s working now; perhaps it was a short-time glitch.

With a UK account, I am not able to deliver an eBook to my Kindle Touch. When I go to see what's being delivered to my Kindle, I get nothing.

Only works on PW3 if Whispernet is enabled on the device and you tap on the listed but not downloaded ebook. I can only "Send" from the web site to the DXG. Sending to the PW3 puts nothing in the queue.

Yes, I know the DXG ought not to work at all. There is still EDGE and maybe tomorrow or later in the week Amazon will cancel the SIM contract. Odd.

I can send to my PW3. I'll try later with my Touch to see if it works with WiFi on first.

Does anyone happen to know what was the last *available* version of K4PC (that someone still has an EXE installer available for without scouring some shady Russian websites) that delivered books in AZW3 format rather than KFX? v2.4 is better than nothing, but the KFX format is somewhat of a pain to deal with.

I was still getting AZW3s with K4PC 1.19, so I assume the switchover happened somewhere between 1.19 and 2.4.
