Not a problem. You have contributed much to Sigil and helped numerous people here on the forums in many ways. It was the least I could do.

I'm using ver 2.4.2 and when I try and change the 'Saved Searches' 'Controls' all it does is blank the field and nothing I can do brings it back or allows any changes.

All I'm trying to do is uncheck the DotAll flag for one particular search. I can't put the controls back in, nothing I've tried allows me to save anything in the Controls field. It just stays blank even if I Save and re-load the Saved Searches. I assume there is no possibility of adding Save/Cancel buttons to the dialog. Paul |

Well the popup doesn't work, but I can edit sigil_searches_v6.ini and change it that way.

It all works for me. So perhaps you do not understand how this kind of item delegate works in Qt? Item delegate's are designed to edit *within* the table cell so as soon as you leave the cell, the value is saved. Unfortunately the Item delegate used for controls in saved searches is much too large to fit inside the Saved Searches control field so it "pops up" on top. To save a value simple click outside the pop-up, effectively auto saving the item delegate's contents.

Please do as theducks said or just double-click on the Control field of any item, the popup dialog appears, and when done changing things, do NOT hit the close control as that aborts the changes. Just click anywhere outside the popup dialog and your changes will be saved and the pop-up will go away and control and focus will be back in Saved Searches. It has always worked this way. Don't think so. The dialog would come up but nothing I did to/with it changed anything, the Controls field stayed blank.

But it's working now just like it's supposed to. I really do think it should have a Save and Cancel button though. But that's not a big deal for me. Paul |
