Thank you for your kind words, which I will take as being directed toward anyone who has had a stroke. I would say I'm about 95% back. Equilibrium is the main problem for me, but that continues to improve. The main advice is to be patient (difficult, I know), and to continue to do your physical therapy. And pick up those beans from the table (eye/hand coordination) and put them into a cup! Get plenty of rest, and then do it over again later in the day. And drink plenty of water (I am not a doctor.) Good to know it's possible to recover. After all, any of us can get a stroke at some point in our life. Micro-strokes (with no outward symptoms at all) are much more insidious. Enough of those and dementia will set in. My mother got dementia that way - she never had any sign of a stroke, none at all, but when they did a brain scan after her cognitive functions and memory had started to worsen noticeably, it was discovered she had had several micro-strokes over the years. Unfortunately once dementia has begun, it cannot be stopped or cured.

My stroke was an ischemic one, left middle cerebral artery. Minor thankfully, its mostly my right arm and hand that's affected. I had TIA (small stroke that passes) a few years ago.

Regardless of whether you read romance specifically, this could actually effect authors and readers of any genre, as well as bookstore and librarians of any platform nationwide with. Most of it would be through a simple chilling effect through self-censorship by authors, readers, bookstores, librarians. But any of those parties from Oklahoma could encounter actual harm and financial repercussions. Corporations are PRE-COMPLYING (ie, complicit) with the worst censorship we've had in 70 years. So that's nice. I feel 99% confident that Amazon will start removing books from their offerings and likely from people's existing libraries. So that's nice.

Strangely there are no download counts for older versions so can't judge increase, but total downloads for latest version is... https://hanadigital.github.io/grev/?...l&repo=calibre |

It can handle Kindle ebooks from sources that are not D&T, so it will still work for as long as Amazon doesn't do other changes to their services.
