What We really need is a script to go through our Kindle library and update all the books with updates.

I tried dropping the wait time to 0 but on the third page, I got multiple error popups. Turned out one of the books is not supposed to work with an Kindle eInk. Oddly, a PW4 downloads the book happily. Took about 45 minutes to download my entire library back to 2014. A bit funny to notice how my purchases went from anything to Amazon exclusives as the years passed.

The K4PC download link is: KindleForPC-installer-2.4.70904.exe from Amazon The alpha DeDRM plugin is currently found at: Automatic alpha release with latest changes. The KFX plugins can be downloaded and installed from calibre's preferences. This should be working until Amazon changes their setup so K4PC 2.4.0 no longer works. At this time, the BlueStacks/Kindle for Android method is still working but it's a lot harder to set up than the K4PC method. | |

I've seen plenty of updates where the formatting is improved. Plus there could be errors fixed. I've seen both when comparing the old version to the new version. So it's best to get the newest version as we don't know what updates were made.

What I've just done is I've selected 250 eBooks from my library to be downloaded by my Kindle Touch. They all downloaded except one the Kindle says is not compatible. I'll pull them off and put them in a separate calibre library. If I do 250 at a time, that will be 7 download sessions. That's not too bad. |

Well, I don't care. I'm not going to redownload my thousands of Kindle books.

It's funny you mention that because I was going to ask if there's a script or something to do this instead of paging thru. A search for "update" doesn't work.
