The Fanficfare button seems to have disappeared from Calibre for me.

EDIT: Installing the test version seems to have fixed it. Or I was just blind.

Sadly, the newer readers don't handle this issue any better. I'm using the Pocketbook Verse Pro reader.

Odd. I have opened several omnibus volumes where each book is a single file on my Kobo Sage and Libra Colour without issue.

It is A Calibre PI that helps identify various issues. YOU determine how / what to do to to remedy each type.

260K give headroom for other files in use at the same time:
FONTS, IMAGES, STYLESHEETS

a 260K and a detailed MAP.JPG can choke things.

No! I have not bothered to try find the real larger sweet spot. It works. It is rare I have to do a manual 'chapter' break up. And I am pretty sure that book WILL run on any device I have.

Well, looks like Mac OS 15.3 broke something. The error noted in the attached image came up a while back but it was fixed. As Jack Nicholson said, I'm back. :-)

By default FFF uses the title of the first story + "Anthology" when it creates an anthology epub. Is there a way to change this?

You can adjust it a bit with the anthology_title_pattern setting:

## Uses a python template substitution.  The ${title} is the default
## title of a new anthology, <series name> in the case of a series, or
## the first book title otherwise.  This is only applied to new
## anthologies.
anthology_title_pattern:${title} Anthology

title is the only entry available.

However, once you've made the anthology, you can change the title and FFF will keep it, even if you update the anthology.

Running Calibre on Mac, with FanFic plugin 4.41.0. Using latest version of Chrome and trying to download story from Fanfiction.net - what I did was page through the story to get it into the cache, and then going to Calibre. No go, even after clearing the cache several times. I'll note it was working when I last downloaded stories late last year, so something changed, what, I don't know. Here's the error message:
