Calibre vanishes on win 11
I have a new HP Victus desktop running Win 11. I have installed Calibre 7.23 twice. When I run it, I get nothing. I ran task master, and it shows up there, but, nowhere else; no taskbar entry, no window, nothing, and no errors. Any ideas???

It may be off screen (phantom second monitor).Try Alt-Space M, then the left arrow key a bunch of times.

What could be done is rename gui.json in the config directory to gui.json.bak to see if calibre then displays.

Thanks Guys, however, neither of these worked. Under Calibre2 there is no config directory, nor does a gui.json exist.

The calibre preferences directory is in C:\Users\<account name>\AppData\Roaming\Calibre gui.json is in there.
