Anyone having problems with A03 today?

It got a little better a few days ago, and then today the bottom has just dropped out. Everything seems to be timing out and/or throwing bad gateway errors.

Yeah I get gateway errors. RSS too. Dont see anything about it though and site runs smooothly.

Yeah, I don't see anything anywhere on it, either.

I've noticed if I log out of the site from my web browser that it will download without the gateway errors, but it hangs and takes several minutes while trying to fetch the metadata.

I'm also not logging in with FFF, either.

Yeah I get the hang too. After that its random as to wheher it'll download or not.

Every one I've tried since I logged out in the web browser has eventually worked without throwing another gateway error, though I've only been doing them one at a time.

chapter_title_strip_pattern:^(Chapter *[0-9]+[\.:, -]*)?

however does not seem to be applying to my fics. (Tested with a 1. Chapter 1). I tested with storyurl and just strip_chapter_numbers it worked. What happens?

I would try the second example from defaults.ini:

## This version remove leading numbers and 'Chapter 1':
## "Chapter 1" => ""
## "1. Chapter 1" => ""
## "1. Chapter 1, Bob's First Clue" => "Bob's First Clue"
## "Chapter 2 - Pirates Place" => "Pirates Place"
## etc
## Note that your ToC entry(ies) may be empty if the
## chapter_title_strip_pattern removes everything and you don't have
## add_chapter_numbers:true.
chapter_title_strip_pattern:^([0-9]+[\.: -]+)?(Chapter *[0-9]+[\.:, -]*)?

You might also check whether you have add_chapter_numbers:true set, because that would also result in leading numbers.

I don't understand, AO3 is up and I can navigate it, but Fanficfare takes a lot of time to download or update a fic and sometimes times out and doesn't update. What happens?

Hi,

I'm getting 'File is not a zip file' when trying to download specific stories. It's always the same ones and after looking at this thread, I tried restarting my computer. Didn't work.

When I turned on my computer after restarting it, calibre said that my library was corrupted and needed to be checked.

I store my library on Onedrive so I can share it between my laptop and my PC. Just came back from a vacation where I used the laptop to update my library overseas, just came back yesterday and PC has been giving me those errors since then.

Edit: Updating metadata and then trying to download does not work. Nor does trying to download as a new book or overwriting the existing book.

Don't do that! Calibre does not handle cloud storages.
