Ensure you have copied the ".active_content_sandbox" folder which may be hidden on some operating systems

Is there any way to jailbreak without registering a Kindle?? I bought one used and it‘s blocked

My problem is, even in the 3 dots options (which has Device info/Restart/Reset to factory default), or in Device Options, I could not find any Update My Kindle option.

Please be noticed that I has done it successfully one time before.

Not with Winterbreak. If you're on a lower firmware version you might have some luck with the other methods (LanguageBreak, WatchThis, KindleBreak)

After installing the hotfix I'm constantly greeted by a popup titled Collecting Debug Info. I also get the popup when entering

Your issue is identical to mine. (I posted a couple above you yesterday.) Question for you: does your Amazon account have 2FA? Mine does, and I'm wondering if that's part of the problem.

No, it doesn't. I think that the Kindle PaperWhithe is the problem, you have the same kindle than mine

Fair, though I thought others on this thread had success with PW4... mine is on the latest public firmware, which the tutorial suggests will work with Winterbreak, but maybe not?

Some people have make a succefull jailbreak in 5.17.2 (PW4 has 5.17.1.0.3)

Would there be any way to jailbreak a locked Kindle PW 12th gen on FW 5.17.1.0.4 bc registration is not possible at all and downgrading can only be achieved via jailbreak :‘(
