The Little Kindle Ereader that Surprised Amazon

I'm enjoying my Machta-colored little ereader that tries harder...and succeeds.

I even bought a carry-on piece of luggage the same color for my international flight!

It's comfortable to hold and hardly weighs nothing at all. The case, too, is the same color.

It's a wonderful ereader to take on one's honeymoon, too, when you don't want to be bothered by any unnecessary distractions and the urge to read yet one more sentence simply cannot be ignored! (I hate it when I'm interrupted when reading Proust or Javier Marias.)

Yes, truly: This reading device proves that tiny ereaders are back in style and, in the process, slapped Amazon upside ts sleepy, lethargic, barely awake whiskered puss!

Cool.
I recently bought the new Paperwhite Se coming from a Paperwhite two generations ago. Have to say it's pretty awesome. The regular smaller Kindle looks nice but I enjoy the amber light of the Paperwhite. If they ever do a regular Kindle with the amber lighting I will most definitely consider it as my out of house reader.

I wish my eyes were better so I could use a smaller e-book reader.I am 77 and have poor eyesight but good enough that my eye doctor will not recommend any eye procedures. I just got the new PW SE and absolutely love it. I also have the Fire HD8 that I use almost exclusively for text to speech and audiobooks. I read on average 2 full length books every week.

To be fair, this thread opening post had me wondering if dipping too much into New Year hooch stock scrambled my reasoning processors.

That's not a little Reader. A little Reader would have to be smaller then 6".

I exaggerated a little bit, but not in how much I enjoy it. This is Amazon's basic ereader. And I love the color:

https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Kindle...M_DEVICES&th=1

When I bought the matching green cover, these were all on sale. I think I paid $85 for the ereader. (?)

Isn't 'little' in the hands of the owner?

(Your definition might be contradicted by a number of men.)

When I read your title, I thought you might be referring to the BOOX Palma 2.

Perhaps you should ask that person who keeps claiming that 6" ereaders are too small?

I also am 77 and have similar vision problems, so I prefer the slightly larger PW SE. It's pretty much my favorite thing in the world.

That having been said, I think the new Kindle is terrific value for the money. And that green is the best-looking color I have ever seen on an Amazon ereader (although I use a cover that I am very happy with).
