Around 9°C and raining on and off. Weatherfolk claiming that more rain is heading this way and the chances of a white Christmas are less that 1%.

Today's a typical Dutch winter day. 6-8℃, very windy until at least mid afternoon and in the morning some showers. But the sun should come out between showers and in the afternoon.

28° F. now at 1AM Tuesday. It was as cold as 11 degrees Sunday night. 25 when I went out at 5:30pm to go to the pool to swim laps. It will get up to 36° today and 35° on Christmas. (Sunny the past 3 days.)

Currently 9°C and mixed sun and cloud. A nice morning for a walk. Sadly, the weatherfolk say that heavy rain will be starting in the early afternoon and continuing through to Sunday before we see any breaks. The chances of a white Christmas (2cm of snow on the ground) has been dropped to infinitesimal.

Yesterday was chilly; it didn't get above 2℃, it was also very cloudy. But at least it was dry. Today is similar, only it'll be a bit warmer 5℃.
I just read the weather expectation for next month (which I take with a pinch of salt) and they're saying the first half of January will be cold, with a chance of daytime freezing. Which means that talk about the Elfstedentocht will start today. They also predict some snow but it'll be more sunny than December (27 hours of sun so far). I'm going on vacation from the 20th until the 27th and I wouldn't mind some snowy winter weather. |

Drove through some of the densest fog in recent memory this morning- zero visibility in spots - traffic lights invisible until you get right up to them - half the cars driving without lights - what you go through to pick up your cats prescription food ...
