Collection and formatting of the title to classify in the collection

Hello,

Under Calibre, in the metadata of my books, I fill in the [Series] and [Number] fields.

When I find them in my Kobo e-reader, and go to the Series tab, I see nothing. My books don't appear, let alone classified.

I did some research today and found a site that explains how to do it. Apparently, in the Device configuration, in the Collection tab, I have to check the "Collection column" box and assign in the text box [Series] so that this metadata is sent to the Kobo. I haven't tested it yet but it should work.

On the other hand, below, there is an area which, apparently, allows you to format the display of books in the famous collection. This “Collection template” area allows you to use variables for formatting.

But no way to get my hands on the dictionary which lists the existing fields.

I would like the books to appear on my e-reader in the form [name_of_the_series] [number_in_the_series] - [title of the book].

Could you help me or give me a clue please?

Sorry, I didn't see that the column names appeared in the table when you add your own columns.
So, the expression {series} - {title} did the job.
