You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

Sorry for the necro. Apparently both OSX and Windows post-8.1, not being native FAT32, have size limitations for FAT32 and cannot resize the partition to the full volume. My next step is to create an xubuntu live USB and try it with that, if anyone's got any tips I'm all ears

Rather than using the o/s built in disk manager use a 3rd party tool that can manage partitions.

For what it may be worth, using MiniTool Partition Wizard 12, I have tested creating a FAT32 partition up to 512GB. Windows 11 in an update removed the 32GB limit for a FAT32 partition allowing a 2TB FAT32 partition though I've only tested that from the command line and again up to 512GB.
