Moving books from Kindle to Calibre
I have books I sent to directly to my kindle and I would like to transfer them to Calibre. Is there a way I can do this? I've connected my kindle to my computer but I can't find a button in Calibre to do this, Unless I'm just missing it.

It is not a 'Button'
You switch to Device View (only appears when a device is detected): Right click : Add books to Library

Now the bad news.

Amazon (and some others) now put 'Downloads' into Protected Storage. This is a section that USB can't reach

If you still have access to your Amazon account, you could also go to your Content area there and use the More Actions button next to each book to download new copies. That would be fairly agonizing and I believe Amazon has limited most (if not all) of its books to protected file formats. So, probably not what you want to do.
