Thumbs up Hello

I am the owner of a PRS505. I am a little concerned that Sony have no support for this unit.

With all th problems that have been addressed on this site, surely it is time to refer it all back to Sony.

( I think i have experienced all the problems adressed on this sight)
Some of the solutions have been extremely technical and not meant for the average reader.

I think that Sony should be made to address the multitude of problems.

The main problem appears to be getting Sony to answer any email that might be sent to them.

Has anyone ever got through to Sony?

No thanks. I've been very happy with mine, and easily able to fix anything that was a problem. Not interested in supporting some sort of half-baked grass-roots storming the walls of Sony.

Same here. Out of all the tech gadgets I've ever owned, the PRS-505 has been the best. Not a single gripe this end. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not dreaming, because this thing is so easy and smooth to use

To the OP, what particular problems have you been having? Maybe we can help out

I agrtee that it 9is easy to use but the problems have been many and varied.

My wife and I both own PRS 505's. The amin problem seems to be charging and knowing when it needs recharging. Even charging overnight does not help to maintain the charge. (That was because I forgot that it was charging)
Another problem is that it occasionally locks up and nothing but pressing the reset button and then recharging seems to help.

We like the reader but I am bgecoming a little frustrated by the problems.
