Of course, I also long like a dog for the olden 1970's Texas Weiner (The name of the stores, for those never blessed with a TW Chili Cheese Dog), Chili-Cheese dog. OMG....I will not say how many imitation recipes I've tried to make the "chili/sauce/gravy" to emulate those. Those stores are a thing of the past. GOD YOU GUYS ARE MAKING ME STARVING!

My wife did a whole chicken in the air fryer the other day. I took what was left and pulled it off the carcass. Today I had some of the chicken in a sandwich with mayo and BBQ sauce. It was yummy.

We once stopped at a garden center on the way home from the airport and they had Cajun spiced fries. They were so good.

Is that one dose of the combined vaccine that's been promised?

I just looked at the my state's surveillance report, the KP.3 variant has been at the top of the prevalence list for 6 months, KW.1.1 and XEC have been and gone. I think that's the longest any variant hasn't been overtaken by a new one in this state.

Given I've never had the flu or covid I wonder why I bother with the vaccinations… apart from Sod's Law.

Route 31, Route 202 and Route 12 -- I think that's the circle you want -- although there are two other circles in close proximity.

Flemington, especially around that circle, has undergone a lot of renovation in the past several years.

I don't bother with them. I'm not yet old enough or ill enough for the infections to be serious. I've presumably had covid several times (never took the test) and it's been relatively minor, like most other respiratory tract viruses going around here. No idea if I've ever had the flu.

In 10 or 20 years, I'll probably consider getting them. If I live that long, of course - you never know.

I had one in each arm two years ago.

The day after I felt under the weather, nothing new after flu/Covid vaccinations for me. But four days later I got dizzy spells, it started around 10 am and it was a constant thing; feeling dizzy followed by half a minute of not being dizzy, followed by a dizzy spell, etc. It lasted until 4 pm and then it was just suddenly gone. In the following week I felt light headed a couple of times a day.

Yesterday I felt like cr*p, today I feel better, still tired and my arm is itchy. For the first time I got a bruise where they injected the vaccine.

YES, that's the one. The movie theater was just there, right? GAHD, I loved that diner and OMG, yes, I adored the Texas Weiner spots, too. If I ate a TW Cheese-chili dog now, I'd probably keel over dead from acid reflux or something, or it would harden my arteries all by its lonesome, but just one time, before I kick ye olden bucket, I wish I could have ONE MORE. LOL.

You can't be from too far away, to know that area that well. ??? I lived there, and it's vague for me, even though it's been (cough) decades since then (sigh, 5? Oish.) You ever patronize that diner?

It's provincial election season here in Nova Scotia and that's just weeks after the municipal elections and the U.S. presidential election going on right now. I'm getting a little weary of elections.

And that's all I have to say on the matter without opting into the P&R forum.

The vast majority of instructional videos are terrible. Poor lighting, jerky camera movements, out of focus, slooooow talking, just plain poorly done.

I watch sewing videos at times, to learn new methods, etc. So many are just bad, and I've mentioned it before, giggling. Lots of giggling.

I prefer well done still photos and well written instructions. Every time.

Yeah, I haven't been back in ages. My family members that still lived there have all crossed their own Rainbow Bridge and I left there, as a "home," when I served so that was...wowzers, over 50 years ago. I could probably still drive from that circle (not the other one by the DQ, LOL), which was 523 and....damn, can't think of the name, the Radio Shack was over there too, on the south edge of main street, right?, over to my old house, or almost anywhere, but don't ask me street names or the like. I know any car I was in would make an automatic beeline for the buildings that housed the Texas Weiner businesses. (My baby bro worked at the one in Turntable Junction for about 5 minutes, LOL.)

I really do miss those. I also know that with my innards the way they are of late, if I ate a TW Cheese Chili Dog (espec. with everything, including raw onions), I'd probably end up in the ER. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Hell, I don't even eat McDonalds and all that--can't imagine what a Cheese Chili w/everything would do to me. (Might be worth it, though....)

And yeah, I miss those fries with gravy from the damned diner....sigh. There's something else, some other food place, but now I can't think of it.

Fooooodddd....I am hungry this morning.
