It's an oldie, but...

...the way Amazon makes it impossible to drill down to a specific edition of a classic. I've tried searching on the title +editor, +publisher, +ASIN. No dice. And I blame Goodreads, too, which Amazon owns and the way that the Amazon link on a specific edition page still links to any old edition.

And reviews for totally different editions, or even different book with same title, or a blurb assuming the book is same genre as many of the author's other works.

And the never ever fix it even when reported.

Or even finding the book (or DVD) at all in the noise of irrelevant search results. Often using DuckDuckGo turns up the otherwise invisible Amazon page!

It's the supermarket principle, isn't it. If you have to trawl through pages of irrelevant content to get the specific thing you are after, then you are likely to impulse buy. It's one of the reasons I loathe online storefronts, especially ones that don't allow you to drill down into the results. Ebay is better than most, don't get me started on the Kindle store or Etsy.

There were two review on Goodreads ([1], [2] - amusingly, the second review coincidentally uses almost exactly the same wording of my complaint) that mentioned that the book better matched the description of a thriller, which makes a lot more sense. That said... cozy thriller is not something I've ever seen before.
